As part of SoLA’s ongoing partnership with Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen, specially-curated artwork from the Remembering Together collection will be displayed at Hilltop’s Slauson Avenue location. Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen is a Los Angeles-based, Black-owned restaurant that activates its brick-and-mortar locations by showcasing the work of local artists of color. As Slauson Avenue neighbors that share similar missions -- to uplift and create space for BIPOC artists -- SoLA and Hilltop have forged an allyship. The intent of this partnership is to invest in the South Los Angeles community through a combined effort to bolster artistic careers and enrich the community through the high quality work of these individuals. With the spirit of reciprocity at the heart of Creative Exchange, we are thrilled to announce SoLA and Hilltop’s first official collaboration.
